We’re two sisters powered by inside jokes, strong coffee, and the memory of the smartest, funniest man we ever knew—our dad. He left us in 2025, but he also left us with a lifetime of one-liners, creativity, and the kind of laughter that fills a room long after someone’s gone.

Some families pass down heirlooms. Ours passed down humor, grit, and a belief that wit makes everything better.

Smart & Funny was born in the middle of all that—plus one husband who kept coming home from fishing with hilarious phrases like “Diaper Striper” and “Fish Are Afraid of Me.” Suddenly we realized: these jokes weren’t just jokes… they were shirts, mugs, hats, and a full-blown business.

We’re not here to sell you the catch of the day. We’re here for the experience—the early mornings, the salty language, the “one more cast,” the “no really, this is the lucky lure,” and the die-hard fisherman (and fisherwomen) who never give up.
